About Goran Dubljevic
Background
I founded Rubicon Associates in 2015 to deliver world-class maritime solutions across Defence, Marine, and Oil & Gas. As a Chartered Engineer (Australia & UK) and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (FRINA), I combine 30+ years of C-level executive experience spanning Australia, the EU, Singapore, Malaysia, and Serbia with deep technical expertise in EPCM shipbuilding, naval defence systems, and strategic acquisitions.
My experience includes leading multidisciplinary international teams delivering mission-critical maritime infrastructure and negotiating complex contracts with global suppliers across multiple continents.
Current Focus
As a Certified Chair through the Advisory Board Centre, I now serve on governance and advisory boards internationally. My focus is helping organizations navigate strategic growth, M&As, and technology innovation. I recently completed Executive Education in M&A at Imperial College Business School London.
I'm particularly passionate about commercializing autonomous unmanned surface vessels (AUSV) and mentoring the next generation of business leaders—helping founders access the strategic wisdom that traditionally stays locked in corporate boardrooms.
